They were supposedly going to nursing home patients. But last month, someone at Pharmerica's regional billing noticed something wasn't quite right. They contacted the store's general manager who then asked Beaty for a copy of the paperwork from the nursing home requesting the prescription be filled. When Beaty couldn't come up with it, the general manager starting digging. The GM discovered a large amount of prescriptions filled for patients that had been discharged from nursing homes.
