Sophomore Liz Tricase (Itasca, IL/Lake Park HS) of the Stanford Women's Gymnastics Team was selected as the Stanford/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 14-Feb. 20.

Tricase tied a school record last weekend as she scored a perfect 10.000 on her first and second efforts on Bars, leading Stanford to victory over No. 14 Arizona. Her point total gave the Cardinal a team total of 49.425, their best effort of the 2006 season. Tricase is now the national and Pac-10 leader on Bars with a season average of 9.900. She is also fourth in the Pac-10 on Vault with an average of 9.855.
