By admin at Thu, 2006-02-23 11:28 Oriental Holdings Bhd will allocate 1.5% to 2% of its turnover for product advertisement and promotion as it seeks to increase its car sales to more than 7,000 units this year, said its managing director Datuk Robert Wong. He said the 7,000-car target was 10% above last year’s sales as the company continued to focus on the best model, the Hyundai Accent 1.5-litre, and the new Elantra Gold series. The company hoped to sell about 1,500 to 2,000 units of the Elantra Gold this year, he added. Wong said Oriental Holdings would expand its sales and service outlets and the new fully integrated Kah Bintang Auto Puchong branch would be fully operational by mid-2006, with an estimated total investment of RM9.8 million. He said the 2006 Elantra RX Gold body kit series, an upgraded version of the popular Elantra series, would have a redesigned compact yet stylish body kit consisting of dual side skirtings, front and rear bumper skirting, a unique space fin and an RX spoiler, which have all been tested for tough rigidity.
